Bumrung Mueang Road is one of Bangkok’s older commercial streets, historically lined with rows of shophouses built to house both trade and family living quarters. This set of photographs captures several of the surviving facades along the road, including some of their decorative architectural details. Many of these buildings have been altered over the years, but original elements are still visible on close inspection. Further research is needed to confirm construction dates and original occupants.
